Gaming as FHE
One of the things that I've really come to appreciate as a childless couple lately is that it means Family Home Evenings (a weekly planned activity of some kind that we, LDS people, tend to use to set aside time for family) can sometimes feel like a date. It's an intentional evening together, after all, and often involves a treat or food of some kind or other. (No gathering is complete without food. I was raised this way, as a lot of Latter Day Saints are)
I have a hard time always being eager to play board/card games when Tim wants to, heh, but then he's ALWAYS wanting to. (He probably feels the same way about me and watching a show on Netflix together.)
Anway- this is Dominion, a really fun game that I'm getting better at every time we play. I don't often beat Tim, but I always feel very accomplished when I do!
